If you're talking about these. I'm not sure what those are. They resemble the LM Styled Mercury series of luminaires but have a vertical lamp and a 12" bucket refractor. The open areas of the subway were lined with them back in the day but only those are left now.

I think they might be remote ballasted too. You can't see them on the Streetview, but some of them have ballast cans strapped near the base of the pole.
