After seeing that some North American F40T12 fluorescent tubes have a mixed phosphor blend like the Philips Cool White Supreme, and modern Sylvania CWX tubes, I am beginning to wonder which North American F40T12 fluorescent tubes are pure triphosphor tubes that have a similar phosphor formulation to most North American F32T8 fluorescent tubes. If I am not mistaken, I believe that GE’s SP, SPX, and CX tubes are GE’s lines of pure triphosphor F40T12 fluorescent tubes. I also believe that Sylvania’s designer 700, designer 800, and 900 series tubes are Sylvania’s line of pure triphosphor F40T12 fluorescent tubes. Finally, I also believe that Philips’ spec, ultralume, and Advantage 800 are Philips’ lines of pure triphosphor F40T12 fluorescent tubes. Can someone confirm if these F40T12 tubes are pure triphosphor tubes?
