Most lamps used in the USA are locally made American products but I have seen lamps with the following country of orgin:
-Japan (mainly fluorescent, HID, halogen and older low priced incandescents) -China (CFL, Christmas lights, low priced incandescents, HID) -Korea (low priced incandescent) -Taiwan (low priced incandescent, Christmas lights, neon glow) -Hungary (low priced Tungsram incandescents, GE linear fluorescent, mercury, and CFL) -Poland (low priced incandescents, now Philips soft whites are made there) -Philippines (low priced decorative incandescent) -Indonesia (low priced general service incandescent and some Philips A-19s) -Holland (older decoratives, and some Philips lamps) -Germany (a few A-19s) -Finland (older neodymium lamps) -France (various lamps made by SLI) -Mexico (various incandescent, fluorescent and HID lamps made by major American manufacturers) -Canada (various incandescent, fluorescent and HID lamps made by major American manufacturers) -Italy (older reflector lamps under the ITT name) -Austria (few speciality incandescents) -Belgium (few Philips HID, some older decorative incandescent) -Colombia (general service incandescent made by SLI) -Brazil (incandescents made by SLI, Wotan and Sadoken) -India (incandescents made by Narva for Litetronics)
