Here are pics while testing.
I was expecting a larger & much brighter lamp but it's just over 5 inches in length and about as bright as a 40/50w MV. However, it is largely baffled in the hooded attachment. There's an open window which I'm sure was for an adjustable slit. I asked the seller to contact me if he finds it. The P.S. is in great condition. I also checked the spectrum, basic clean Hg line spectrum visually.
Here are some numbers with my Kill-a-Watt meter: At 120.7 volts, 60.0Hz Consumed Current= 2.17 amps Power consumed = 128 Watts Power Factor = 0.48

Thanks, the power factor sucks, I'll have to see what value capacitor works, if there's room inside. Is it an E26 or admedium cap, I can't quite tell from the picture

I haven't opened the PS compartment. Seller said there are two transformer parts, which leads me to believe there might be a 240volt choke in there & a bump-up transformer. Should I open it?

Glad you ended up getting it. Must be an early one if it uses a separate transformer and choke coil.

E26 cap, nicely fits any medium socket.
The ballast is the typical North American auto-transformer ballast. The seller might have seen the two coil segments and thought there were separate.

Thanks, looks in excellent condition and plenty of room for a PFC cap. Let me know when you're sending it

It's our Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday, so it will go out Tuesday. Sadly, I can't exploit free Tuesday shipping on CanadaPost.ca since it's going to the UK.
On the other hand, I can ship less the 2 kilos for free to the States. Or up to 5 kilos for free to Canada. Yes, every Tuesday for October one parcel is free shipping. So start trading!

Its great to know that another lamp collector got it and not someone looking for old lab equipment. I was about to get it myself if it stayed up a few days longer.
