So no luck on sourcing an SX26 ignitor! Wondering if there is a 230V electronic ballast I could try that will supply the 0.37A @ 69V listed on the Philips spec sheet?

Sorry for late reply, only just seen it for some reason. Any ignitor that will work for a 35W SOX lamp will be fine, such as the SX72. But there are plenty of others out there. I may have a spare somewhere that I know will work, let me know if you're interested.

Regarding electronic ballasts, yes they exist, see here but it seems to under-drive a 35W lamp quite a bit, I've not tried a 26W I don't think, might give that a go sometime :wndr:
