What is the color temperature of Lite White?
Why do DX and CWX fluorescent tubes have a purplish tint when lit?

I think Lite White is about 3500K,not sure 100%.DX and CWX have purpulish tint due to the phosphorus type.If tubes are older T12 then they used special deluxe colors which are obsolete.CWX is Cool White deluxe,DX is daylight deluxe.Newer tubes use 3phosphor which has better color and light output.Purpulish tint is present because tube has 3phosphorus coating. What tube you have seen with that tint,is it newer or older one ?
