I have some halogen bulbs that I want to recycle, and I need to remove the glue from the base. How can I remove it? And then what glue can I use similar to the light bulb glue?

Most recycling companies will do the splitting up of a lamp into the different components themselves without you having to get involved.

I want to remove the glue because I will use the bulbs for doing new things.
