Saw this and I'm rather tempted, but the arc tube looks very small for a 150W lamp (Admin edit - Listing has ended but info can still be seen)

I thought so, too, but then I saw it was an E40 base and the scale makes more sense.

I don't think so, there are plenty of 150W lamps with E40 caps, and the arc tubes are larger than this one, see here for an example.

That's a rare white HPS lamp. They have a color similar to an incandescent lamp but are a little less efficient and don't last as long.

Worth getting then, at that price. It's not going to be run into the ground to EOL in the collection, so I think it's a good lamp to have

Seems like the arctube is more pressurised than normal 150w HPS arctubes. If the lamp is 150wm It should thake the 150w from the gear, the only difference is that the lamp run with more pressure. I'm not a 100% about that, but that can be the case. But please don't plug it into a 150w HPS setup and blow up anything by a newbie member.

Yes, it runs at higher pressure...this is typical for a DX lamp.
