Once I turned on my F8T5 fixture that I got from the Restore two months ago, the GE F8T5 RVL fluorescent tube made straitions, after it started up. Could this mean that it is cold in my room (around 65ºF in my room right now) or is it something else that making the straitions?
Note: Its on a electronic rapid start ballast.
Wait for some burn-in. If it is cold there, too much mercury may condense, so you may have to wait for it to evaporate and spread over the tube well again.
