Missing “minor parts”? It has no ballast! like, that’s a major component of a cobra head. But hey it comes with a lamp.

If it was cheaper, then maybe it could be used as a project fixture to fit your own gear in to.

BTW, for some reason, the seller has a second OVZ listed, same condition as this one (missing "minor" parts), but ten dollars cheaper. https://www.ebay.com/itm/234026098588 (still not worth it IMO)

Its also missing the P/C receptacle. But hey, look on the bright side...you get a new cube ignitor!

Heh, yeah missing ballast, PC receptacle, AND the NEMA label lol. Ironically the lamp is included as well as the cube ignitor. Strange that the ballast and PC receptacle was ripped out but the ignitor is still there. I believe the other one listed at 10 dollars cheaper dosen't have the lamp included.

If they were cheaper, yeah they would be good candidates for project lights like MV, or CMH conversions. But at the price they're asking you might as well get a complete fixture. You could probably message the seller and make them an offer saying that the ballast is missing.

You'd be better of spending $50 + shipping and buying one of the Cooper NYC edition lights instead !

Yeah they're probably the cheapest cobrahead on eBay shipped right now. You do need a different S56 HPS lamp for them though, or a 150w CMH. But that said they are complete unlike this. I quite like the one I bought.

Listed as out of stock now. I would be surprised if someone actually bought one.
