Such a pleasant little light. Not too bright but still orange like HPS. I used to like 70 watt HPS but the brightness of 70 watts is rediculous and at times unpleasant... 35 watt HPS I could use more of! 35 watt HPS everywhere lol!

I don't have any low wattage mercury lamps. I need to get some. I like having the HID colors but there's times where 100 watt mercury lamps are a little annoying.. Would prefer a dimmer 50 or 75 Watt lamp..

I like 35W HPS too! The ballast is so small. Not nearly as heavy as 175W MH and therefore much easier to install.

We do like to have our one lit quite often, as it has a lower wattage than the halogen lamp in our overhead fixture,

We need to get a few more, the only one we have is quite a rare beast, it was one of the first designs to be marketed I believe, so we'd hate for it to get over-used and worn out (like me)

Definitly stock up! Who knows how long they will exist at reasonable prices before LED pushes them to extinction
