I got an M-400 with about a dozen holes form a pellet gun in it, the damned thing looks like swiss cheese!

Out in the rural areas, it can sometimes be a common thing.  Kids/stupid adults get bored and drunk and go out and do stupid things.

Or kids/adults try to take out annoying streetlights that shine too brightly into their house or yard.  BB gun shots are the most common.
