So I'm going to hoard about 6 or 7 1 Kilowatt stage lights from the 70's or before, almost all GE except 1 philips from the 80's. What is the best way to store them?

I'd say somewhere cool, dry and preferably soft. If you have the original packaging that would be a plus, if not bubble wrap or a box with packing peanuts.

Shredded paper is also a good choice for packing lamps so that they have 'wiggle' room.
