I have an older model GE-M250 I was wondering if anyone could colaberate on the date...DA? I would realy like to know the date of this fixture.

I can help. DA would translate into April '65. They are nice fixtures. FYI your fixture is called the M-250R. The original M-250 was a 250w version of the M-400 with a polycarbonate refractor. The 70s GE fixture was the M-250R1. Hope this helps!

Also you can find some of the GE ballast date codes on their lighting website. It is for the purpose of determining if ballasts have PCB's. I don't have link right now so you will have to hunt for that page.
