Folks- I've been dealing with a lot of the late 90s vintage Philips TL70 F32T8 3000 & 3500K lamps lately. These were certainly good lamps in the sense that they lasted a good long while vs the 800 series. However... I seem to notice that the 3000k & 3500k tend to be a more pinkish color vs the more true warm white colors I've used to with GE and Sylvania. Even in the HPS bulbs, Philips tend to be a bit more pinkish vs GE and Sylvania. I can tell when the local electrical company here gets a batch of the Philips HPS bulbs in... It's that bad. Anyone else notice this? Also.. the 1st gen of the Ecologic Sylvania T8s seemed to be a bit pinkish as well when warming up, vs the new Ecologic II or whatever its called which is more yellowish and true throughout warming up and at full intensity. However.. the sylvania HPS and MH seems to be very true color wise, a good orange yellowish color.

The more you hate the LED movement, the stronger it becomes.
