Today I visited Osram's website and there was this Smartlux pro T8 fluorescent lamps that I have not noticed before. There was very little info in the datasheet so does someone know how do these differ from a standart lumilux lamps and where these were intended to be used? Maybe it's a higher CRI, Or it could use "Eco" materials.

I've seen their Smartlux T5 : These are probably the low cost version of the Lumilux, as the only differencies is that the Lumilux made in Italy, and the Smartlux in China.

Then I wonder what does that smart refer to. How is it smart in any way to make a product that is poorer quality than the original one? Or how pro is that either? BUt I guess that it's cost cutting once again.
