Check out my new Streetlight website, featuring the lights of Worcester, MA « on: September 02, 2013, 09:37:34 PM » Author: slz
Ive been a member here for a few years and have enjoyed the content and education that I have recieved thru this site. Electrical/Lighting (Streetlights etc) have always been an interest of mine since I can remember. I always thought I was the only one with such a hobby until... the internet (1998) and then the Streetlight Hobby world opened up.

I have accumilated so much Streetlight material/content, from many years of being in this hobby, it is too much to share within this site. So, I have created my Streetlight website to share to all that has an interest in this hobby and to further promote the hobby. It not only displays my collection of vintage and modern American Streetlights, but showcases vintage, modern and retro lighting of the city of Worcester, Massachusetts (the city I was born, lived, worked and played for almost 40 years).

Here is my site: http://www.z-mods.com/zmodslighting/homeframe.html

Updates are frequent so stay tuned. Please let me know what you think at zmods@verizon.net

I still frequent this site often to check out any new postings, but I also wanted to share my hobby with all of you. I hope I am not violating any rules in posting and I hope to hear from you soon. If any of you have any old Worcester street scene photos with streetlights in them, please let me know. I want to get as much "then & now" lighting photos of Worcester for Historical and Educational purposes. Thanks again and Enjoy :)  Steve Z

Great site. I went to check it out.

6500K Color Temperature Kelvin lighting works for me. I use 6500K CFL in all my incandescent light fixtures. I use 6500K Flurescent bulbs in my flurescent fixtures. I hope prices get better and hope I find 6500K LED lighting in the future. I love energy efficient and Energy Star products. Way to go!
