For those of you who change out a lot of bulbs in a week/months time, do you ever have one of those days when things just keep slipping out of your hand or dropping from the fixture? This past weekend I dropped 10 40 inch tubes (T-12/T-8) while doing replacements/fixture repair. <sigh> Most of them fell onto a hardwood basketball court so that was not too big of a deal to clean up, but 2 did fall onto carpeted area. Just not my month I suppose.

The more you hate the LED movement, the stronger it becomes.

I managed to drop a 4ft T8 from allmost 2m height and it survived somehow, and still worked for many years after that
Dropping it in place like that is bad as it can cause injuries from the glass whenever somebody is going barefoot in there. I'd vacuum it throughly in the area where the lamp was dropped
