New Year - New House! « on: January 14, 2025, 05:41:37 AM » Author: 108CAM
After 2 failed moves and only 18 months of searching through real estate listings, my Dad's hunt finally paid off in late 2024 when he found a house for sale that (mostly) fits our needs while also being in an area that suits us.
I can say something that not many others can say when they move, I don't have to downsize my collection! Most of it will be stored at our factory while we unpack and settle in.
Once the new shed is built, I'll get the shed that's already at the house as my work and storage area. My lighting stuff (plus everything for my other hobbies) will be brought to the house when my shed is ready and no longer a makeshift storeroom for boxes waiting to be unpacked.

Moving Day is Monday, January 20, 2025.
I'll post updates in this thread as they come up.

I've settled into my new house and am slowly getting used to it.
The piece of junk Chineseium ceiling fan that was in my room has been removed, thanks in part to my new loft bed which would've required me to climb my way through the blades like a turnstyle mounted to the ceiling.

Still need to wait for the new shed to be built so that I have space for my collection. Just don't tell my parents about the loopholes I've found in the temporary boundaries. At least they still let me collect bottles and cans so I can have funds for my hobbies.
