Here is a 35W M130 pulse start metal halide HX autotransformer ballast: https://www.ebay.com/itm/335087911595 It seems to be a decent substitute for a 50W H46 mercury vapor ballast, but it somewhat underdrives the lamp and is better for running Japanese 40W mercury vapor lamps and the rare North American 40W H45 mercury vapor lamps.

Well, it got declined. If this seller ever wants to sell this ballast, they have to lower the price to something more reasonable.

Import costs are another barrier to getting ballasts shipped across the world depending on how much they are.

Just curious. Are your 50W ballasts CWA ballasts or HX autotransformer ballasts?

I find 58  watt fluorescent chokes will work very well on 240 volts in the US .

No LED gadgets, spins too slowly.  Gotta  love preheat and MV. let the lights keep my meter spinning.
