Yeah, that's true and as they don't have a copy of the eBay listing, there shouldn't be a problem, depending on how you word what's in the parcel...

I did recieve a ballast I bought recently on ebay with its ebay shipping. Ita a sola 50w MH ballast, So it's probably just lamps that can't be shipped through ebay for now.
Which is a shame because I need a case of F15T8s at some point, as well as F8T5s

Good to know ballasts are still safe for now.
If you're lucky Habitat might have something. When Rona amalgamated their stores with Lowe's at the beginning of the year, the stores that were closing had deep discounts on things like F15T8s and F8T5s. Maybe the leftovers got donated to Habitat.

Yeah I'm definitely planning on looking. I haven't visited these stores in many months so I'm hoping there be good surprises.

I know I have some F15T8 lamps that I'm not using. Hit me with a PM for flavor & for some pics. I believe they're used but not sure. Free either or.

I don't have a case, but I do have a few General Electric and Damar F15T8 lamps available. I probably have a few F8T5s I could part with as well.

HID, LPS, and preheat fluorescents forever!!!!!!

Has anyone ever been banned from eBay for simply trying to obtain lamps that have ended up being confiscated? I sometimes worry that some people who have used eBay for a long time might end up being banned for life on eBay if the lamps they keep trying to buy end up confiscated.

I don't think that will happen. So long as eBay are making money, they're not going to care.

eBay couldn't care less ! The only way they'll remove a seller is for the seller to do something along the lines of continuely screwing sellers or selling things that are criminally illegal .

WWHID was talking about banning buyers, and that will never happen.
