Here is an article from Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Monica Pearson discusses about this month Black History.  It is at February offers an extra day for remembering, celebrating and being kind (subscription required).  In that article talked about Lewis Howard Latimer patent the carbon filament that made it last longer.  However, the person who wrote the article mistakenly the person as 'Thomas Latimer'.  I thought I have the digital subscription along with weekly Sunday paper that I receives every week, but apparently, I do not have it.  I may have review this on my coming renewal subscription
