I would like to know who produces the best tube today. I have a choice between Philips and GE.
It would also be nice to know who produces/produced the best tubes ever.

If we're talking about modern F32 tubes, I've seen the least amount of failures from the GE Ecolux tubes. The Philips Altos have the highest failure rates from what I've personally seen.

The title of the best fluorescent tubes ever made belongs to the Duro-Test Vita-Lite. Member don93s has one that's been in use 24/7 since 2007 and is still working.
