Rain Tries to ruin photo taking! « on: August 07, 2022, 06:41:22 PM » Author: CreeRSW207
Sorry if any of my photos posted today were too dark or blurry, there was off and on downpours almost the entire time! Plus I was driving so I had to focus on that too. There were plenty of surprises I was planning on photographing in Seabrook...NOPE. Don't worry I will be returning to that area for a second try and I will NOT be driving that time! Another lesson on not to listen to the weatherman when they say it will be sunny and hot all day!

I always take pictures when it's cool out and sunny. Sometimes partly cloudy.

I have a few photos that were taken right as a rain drop passed in front of the camera lens, throwing off the focus and distorting the image.

Yeah, summer weather is difficult to predict in my area. Today was supposed to be raining for most of the day but then it changed to rain in the early evening. I still think it hasn't rained yet. Maybe overnight.

I usually take pictures on clear sunny days but for those darker days, it's handy to have multiple takes of the same shot. Also I sometimes play around with the exposure settings and get shots taken at multiple exposures. If you use a tripod you can also combine them later into one HDR shot.

Same here! I did this because I thought it would be clear but it was cloudy but I wasn’t going to not take pictures if I was already there.
