1000w H34 mercury vapor high bay fixtures « on: November 14, 2021, 01:18:17 AM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
Since knowing that 1000w H34 mercury vapor lamps are mostly limited for indoor use and mild outdoor climates, I am suspecting that some factories and warehouses used 1000w H34 mercury vapor high bay fixtures. I am wondering if anyone knows where to look for such fixtures as I am thinking of using some in my dream house.

A H-34 high bay apparently did exist : http://www.lamptech.co.uk/Documents/Brochures/Westinghouse%20-%20Brochure%20-%20D%20Mercury%20-%201950%20US.pdf  PAGE 3 .

Interesting brochure. Those early 1000w lamps with the tubular envelope must be really rare. It's also interesting to see the many uses for the 3000w lamp too.

GE actually made some 1000w H15 tubular mercury vapor lamps in the 1950s too, but they are pretty rare as well, but can run on 1000w H36 mercury vapor ballasts. I personally found the Westinghouse 1000w H12 tubular mercury vapor lamps pretty interesting as well.
