Where is the best source of a very high CRI F40T12 lamp, say like at ace hardware, home depot or lowes? I have a set of Reveal F40T12 lamps, but they have a lower CRI.

Hey Rudy, check Home Depot for high CRI F40T12 lamps,they should have Philips Natural Sunshine and or Philips Colortone which are 5000K and have a CRI of 92.

I agree with toomanybulbs.  I've been really pleased with the GE Sunshine Chroma 50 lamps (5000k CRI 90).  They would most likely be Ecolux (unless you are lucky enough to find some NOS ones) but in my experience they seem to be the best low mercury T12 lamps out there.
