I have 3 high wattage ( 1-700w/DX & 2-1000w clear) EYE mercury vapor lamps and all 3 take significantly longer to run up to full brightness than any other identical wattage MV lamp I own . WHY ?? 

 Has anyone else experienced this ?  The 700w was ran on true H-35 gear and the 1000w were ran on true H-36 gear .

I haven't notice it yet but I was planned to buy EYE 1000w MV and I could try compare with older Westinghouse DLX 1000 MV someday soon.
