Dayburners don't count.

Tell that to the lovely old HPS dayburner across the street from us, the only proper street lamp left in a desert of L*D 

Of course they count, they're the last survivors and long may they remain  

Now I know! Come home before the street lights come on!

I have the impression that in this day and age it would turn into "Don't come home until the lights come on"...

I remember seeing that saying somewhere!

Also, what would happen if it didn't come on?
